As I reported in an earlier post, this seasons Monster-rama kicked off in Hollywood with sequel films like “The Mummy,” featuring Yetis and Dragons and the “X-Files,” which set the tone for all things dark and mysterious. 

Then in late July, ”Monty” the Montauk Monster drifted onto the shore of a once peaceful beach community and monster madness was officially underway.  Good old Monty spawned a national obsession first covered by Gawker.com and quickly followed by every other media outlet in the world.  Was it an alien? A mermaid?  A demon?  Viral marketing ploy? Photoshop hoax?  Speculation continues to mount daily.

Not to be outdone by the cryptid from the east, in early August, El Chupacabra made a rare, surprise daytime appearance in Ceiro, Texas, which fortunately for us was captured for prosperity by the dashboard cam of a police cruiser.  The footage is considered so “credible” that it’s currently making the rounds on CNN.  Many have noticed that the dessert creature’s profile is remarkably similar to that of a Chupacabra-like creature found last year, which scientists debunked as a type of bald coyote.  Yikes.  And I thought the LEGENDS Chupacabra tee was scarey.  Fortunately, we’re located in California where coyotes are fairly small, have nice, fluffy hair and don’t suck the blood from goats; although they are bad news for cats, small dogs and unsupervised toddlers. 

Not to be left out of the monster milieu, professional Sasquatch trekkers claim they’ve “got proof” that Big Foot exists in Georgia.  Not to be particular, but as our friends at GeekParenting.com recently taught us, when Big Foot is in the Texarkana region (I think Georgia qualifies) he prefers to go by the name Boggy Creek Monster, or BCM to his homies.

What makes this Boggy Creek news flash even more shocking is that it distracted Perez Hilton from pressing Hollywood matters…indicating to me that Big Foot has clearly surpassed the popularity of another elusive creature of the night, Amy Winehouse. 

I think we’re only days away from Scotland’s Lochness Monster, Japan’s Reptilla and the enormous Nordic Kraken demanding equal time in the spotlight. As Beijing welcomes the world to 2008 Olympic Games, we’re reminded that there isn’t much these days that’s still made in the USA - let alone a company’s entire line of products. 

CRIB ROCK is the rare exceptions to the rule, as all of our tees, raglans, thermals, pants and onesies are cut, sewn, dyed and screened in the USA and always have been. 

And our nursery decor?  As the boss would say we’re “Born in the USA,”  made from start to finish right here in our country’s glamour capital following the strictest social compliances.  (In other words, we’re sweat shop free.)  Just a little something we thought you might like to know.

I love rocking my fly greaser jeans and tattoo tee shirts. My style vibe is vintage rock meets modern punk and comes from a blend of many different fashion flavors! I love to mix and match them all because while I may be little but I still have to dazzle the ladies!
